Rainbow Lake Trail

A classic Frisco dog walk with forest, water and a satisfying destination without needing a huge time commitment.

How to get there: Start from the Zach’s Stop / Rainbow Lake trail access near Frisco Main Street and follow signs toward Rainbow Lake.

Meadow Creek Trail

ModerateDog walk / hike option

A steady climb from Frisco with forest shade and mountain feel. Best for dogs with decent fitness and good trail manners.

How to get there: Use the Meadow Creek trailhead near the Frisco exit / west side of town. Parking can be tight.

Frisco Peninsula Recreation Area

Easy to moderateDog walk / hike option

A flexible network of paths with lake views, woods and options to keep walks short or stretch them longer.

How to get there: Access from the Frisco Peninsula / Nordic Center area off Recreation Way.

Tenmile Canyon Recpath

A paved path option with big scenery. Great when dirt trails are muddy or when a dog needs predictable footing.

How to get there: Pick up the path from Frisco near the west end of town and follow segments toward Copper as conditions allow.

Mount Royal Lower Approach

ModerateDog walk / hike option

A steeper Frisco outing that can be shortened with smart turnarounds. Best for athletic dogs and cooler conditions.

How to get there: Start near the Mount Royal / Rainbow Lake trailhead area at the south end of Frisco.

Dillon Reservoir Recpath from Frisco Marina

EasyDog walk / hike option

A scenic lakefront walk for dogs staying near Main Street, the marina or Frisco Bay. Good for leashed, social dogs.

How to get there: Start near Frisco Bay Marina and follow the paved recreation path along Lake Dillon.
